Tacos-N-Salsa in San Antonio

Very tasty food. Only bummer is the nominal line out the door, which is a "good" thing. So be aware that this usually is not a dash in dash out place. It will take some time not to long but certainly a bit. Seating is limited also should you want to dine in. But I can understate how good the food tastes.

Literally the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. I contemplated missing my flight back home to Florida. Staff is very friendly and service is quick. Queso is also amazing. I was in Texas for 5 days and ate a lot of great tacos, but i promise you T&S are the best i had. Do it goo!!!

First let me say the tacos taste great, however my last two trips I got home to find out I only had half my order. The first time I got half my order I got home to find out they only put 5 tacos out of the 9 I ordered in the bag. Today I counted the tacos to make sure I got all 9, but when I got home only 4 were correct and 5 were from someone else’s order. I thought it was strange that while waiting I got my order before the two orders that were in front of me. I suspect I got there orders and half of mine and they probably got the other half of my order. I only suspect this since it wasn’t like the tacos were just missing something or slightly off they were just completely different tacos.

If you are looking for interesting delicious breakfast tacos... this is the place you need to visit. The Trash-Can taco is a must try and the machacado and egg. They have a mix of healthy options for breakfast and lunch. The menu is catered for everyone’s cravings actually. The staff is very friendly and you can easily feelAt home. The salsa bar is of course full of yummy options and it doesn’t disappoint.

Just discovered this great cafe. The staff was very friendly over the phone and at pick up. It's only 5 minutes from my apartment which is 👌perfect. I would definitely recommend this cafe. For breakfast, I had the chorizo and egg taco, bean and chorizo taco and the trash can taco; all three were delicious and well served. I haven't been here for lunch but I'm looking forward to it. Thank you Tacos n' Salsa Mexican Cafe employees for your services in providing delicious food and risking your safety during this horrid pandemic.

Friendly staff, however definitely not real Mexican food. Fast food more like. Bland in flavor. Fajitas had no peppers and I really love peppers. No fajita sauce or flavor. The beef & cheese quesadilla was totally flavorless. Extremely disappointed, but only place around

First time there, busy place for breakfast but still manage to get tacos out quick. The tacos are great and they have a good salsa bar. Prices are not the cheapest but quality of food makes the difference. Highly recommend

Everything about this place is AMAZING!!! I’ve been going for over 1 year and I can honestly say I have not had tacos from anywhere else since trying this place! The food is always perfect and delicious! The staff is great! They always great you and make sure you have the best experience. This place not only has great tacos but they also have a welcoming feeling you can’t get other places!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Every time we have family/friends visit we always make a point to take them to TnS. The service is awesome, and the tacos are so delicious. The last time we took a group of people there they wanted seconds the next day. The salsa selection is delicious and the service is welcoming and always seeking to make the experience better. Seating is limited and it tends to get a bit crowded, but in my opinion it's totally worth it for one of the best home grown taco joints in town. Go get some tacos.

The owner Angelo takes great pride in every plate the leaves his kitchen. I ordered two potato, egg and bacon tacos and I'm upset that I didn't order more. The fresh ingredients used will have me coming back for more. Also loved the salsa station. I give this place a double thumbs up.

First time here. Staff is friendly and courteous. The tortillas are great because they are homemade. The food was not bad and they were quick to serve us. If you happen to be on this side of town, then I would recommend for a quick taco.

This is a cool little taco house on north side. But like many spots, they have potential of 5 star rating. Where they miss spot is seasoning. Everything was cooked to order and prepared very well, but needed salt to make it pop! Salt n pepper on tables shouldn't prevent from cooks seasoning the food. Salsa bar is fantastic! Want to return to try the plates.

I ordered tacos through food delivery app and was missing half my order. I paid a delivery fee and still had to go pick up my missing tacos. The app had my order correct, the hand written receipt from Tacos n Salsa had my order all wrong. Apparently these people can’t read or count!

First time here and the food is awesome.the tacos are hot and full i never been to a restaurant since moving here where the bean and cheese tacos are full. Going again definitely

I would leave 0 reviews if I could. I was told this place was a great place to go. I went at 1:10 and as you know they close at 1:30. The guy at the register was really rude. In fact all their staff was rude. I thought I would take a quick lunch break here and the staff was rude. The owner was doing an interview outside where I was sitting and he explained that all the food is imported “just like bill millers.” That grossed me out and I couldn’t even eat my food. Do not waste your time or money here. You’re way better off at a taqueria or REAL Mexican restaurant.! If you want REAL Mexican food this is not the place to go! Like I said it is all transported!!! “Like bill millers”

Taco was very delicious the tortillas were homemade very fresh food, highly recommended too bad they don’t have one in Austin. I will put this restaurant on the map when ever we come to San Antonio. Also great customer service.

The food is very delicious, best Mexican breakfast in town in my opinion. Both locations are small though so I suggest you just order and take to go. It's not really a place where you can really sit down and eat. Overall the food makes up for it. The owner puts in the work to make sure your food is very very good

The service is great and they fill the tacos up. But if you're looking for authentic Mexican flavor, this is not the place to go. The local taqueria shops are definitely better tasting.

Awesome place! Have not had anything on their menu yet that we did not absolutely love! The owner is amazing as well. Very small location with limited sitting room. Sometimes the line is out of the restaurant but it always moves quickly and it definitely worth the wait. Must try!

If you want amazing service and great food this is the place for you. Trust me you won’t be disappointed with anything you get from there. The staff is always nice. The times I’ve gone, I have seen the owner there helping his staff and customers. It says a lot about a business when I see a owner of the establishment working hard with his staff to make an incredible restaurant experience.

Easily the BEST TACOS I've ever had. My son brought me a T n S chorizo and egg taco that was delicious. I thought it was a fluke so I went there with him a few days later and got another chorizo and egg taco AND an asada taco. OMG!!! They were even better than the first one I had. If you don't believe me, go and see for yourself! On top of that, the people who work there are so so so nice. The food is priced right for what you get. Do yourself a favor and GO GET SOME!!!

One of the best local Mexican cafes I've been to. Best known for their trashcan tacos, their other taco options are not to be missed. Always packed, the owner is friendly, and keeps the place running like a fine tuned sports car.

Just picked up tacos to go. Barbacoa is super tasty and tacos are big! Also got bean and cheese and bacon/egg. All very good. Owner was there. Looks like they are staying busy with to-go business. Hope they will continue to get traffic. Help support them if you can!

Great tortillas and fast service and the "trashcan" taco is amazing.

For starters, the tacos are bomb here! And I loooove tacos. The people working here were SO nice and had tons of suggestions on great menu items, they were also super willing and happy to change/add any items to help make the perfect tacos for me. They clearly care about their food and their customer service, you will not be disappointed if you choose to eat here!

Finally, a Mexican place with healthy food alternatives!!! My first time here and definitely not my last, the quality is very fresh and the food is ready super fast. Their limeade is something special and everyone was raving about the breakfast tacos!

Good food at a reasonable price. Tastes like every other Mexican food joint in town, not bad by any means just nothing that stands out.

Best Tacos in San Antonio and the salsa is delicious. Treat yourself. We absolutely love the crispy beef taco plate and the beef fajita tostada. The trash can taco has a taste of all our favorites. It’s a must!

Small Mexican food restaurant, but oh what big flavor! They have a few tables, but they will be over flowing at lunch! Well worth picking up and taking it with you!

Yes, the food is great, but this morning they earned my life-time loyalty. I picked up an order for a group event and left a bag behind. They delivered it to my office (I didn't give them an address - they had to pay attention to my order and research it). These guys are great!

Was disappointed at the utter disregard for the covid-19 safety precautions issued by the city. There was no social distancing or occupancy controls, none of the employees were wearing masks or gloves, they had community salsa spoons, and the place was packed. The food was solid, but this left an impression you me that they really don't care. Won't be back.

This is so more than just a taco place!! Been going for about 2 years and my daughters is now hooked as well! The service is absolutely incredible! They literally make my day! It’s as if the salsa has some kind of magical powers that makes everyone happy and nice to each other when in there! The staff is incredible! They greet you. They get to know you. They are fast and helpful. They make sure every order is made exactly as you asked for it! And by the way... the food is great as well!!

I went on Monday with a friend, for the first time and then returned on Friday with my husband, his first time. we love it. the space is small, so be prepared to be neighborly, but the food is good and worth a possible wait and somewhat seemingly elevated price. the tacos are heartily filled and the staff is super friendly.

Great tacos and customer service. They're a little pricey for tacos compared to some other places, but they're worth it.
